About DB Real Estate

DB Real Estate is a development and investment firm focused primarily on high quality residential and mixed use projects in Cyprus, with an emphasis on Larnaca and Paphos. These cities combine strong tourism, improving infrastructure, and competitive entry pricing relative to more mature coastal markets, allowing for both attractive yields and meaningful capital growth.

Limassol’s evolution into Cyprus’s most mature and expensive coastal market
demonstrates the long term potential of the island’s cities. By concentrating its core activities in Larnaca and Paphos—markets still earlier in their growth trajectory—DB Real Estate seeks to capture similar value creation at a more favorable point in the cycle. Founder – Matti Zinder

Founder Matti Zinder is an experienced investment and strategic advisory professional with a long track record working with business owners, management teams, and investors on complex transactions and growth strategies. Over the past two decades, he has advised and invested across multiple sectors and geographies, building a reputation for disciplined analysis, clear communication, and strong alignment with his partners’ objectives.

Before founding DB Real Estate, Matti held senior roles in corporate finance and advisory, where he was involved in mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and strategic projects for both private and public companies. This work, combined with his own investing activity, has given him a granular understanding of how capital, risk, and execution interact over the full life cycle of an inve stment.

Matti’s experience spans both Israeli and international markets, exposing him to a wide range of business cultures, regulatory environments, and investor expectations. As a result, he is comfortable working with family offices, entrepreneurs, and institutional partners, and is accustomed to structuring solutions that balance commercial ambition with downside protection. His approach to real estate development reflects the same principles he has applied throughout his advisory career: careful selection of opportunities, deep attention to detail, and consistent follow through from initial concept to exit.
